SIS LAUNCHES POST 2002 DEAL FOR BOOKMAKERS IN 'LIMIT YOUR RISK' CALL

02 October 2001 - Wednesday 3 October sees SIS launch its post-2002 service deal in a major presentation at the Betting Shop Show in Birmingham. The launch is at 3.00pm and is part of the company's drive to encourage bookmakers to sign up to the company's new deal.

"We are taking nothing for granted," said Chief Executive David Holdgate. "We've listened and we've learned from what our customers, great and small, have been saying."

As a result of the listening process, the SIS deal will offer more product under a cheaper pricing structure. Greyhounds, Irish and South African racing, numbers betting, and the ten courses in the GG Media deal are being offered as exclusive products.

This week thousands of bookmakers in the UK and Ireland will receive a formal offer from SIS, laying out the details of the service. At Birmingham Holdgate will point out that, in reality, SIS is the only serious provider of a full service: "Nowhere is there any evidence of a programme maker putting together any kind of service to drive the business of the betting shop."

SIS bases its offer to bookmakers on practical business considerations, Holdgate declares, ""SIS limits your risk. Leave the gambling to your customers. Join us today."
