25/08/05 - Conference to be launched in November with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) - Watch this space for updates in due course.
TO FOLLOW THE ‘EUROPEAN SAFETY AND HEALTH AT WORK WEEK 2005’ which this year focuses on 'NOISE' between 23rd and 30th October 2005.
The Acoustic Safety Programme launch Conference and Workshop will be held in partnership with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in November following the European Safety and Health at Work Week at the end of October 2005. Dates are to be confirmed. The Conference will be hosted by the CCMA and opened by TUC, CWU and Dti representatives as part of the 'European Safety and Health at Work Week' which this year focuses on Noise at Work.

The Programme delivers specialist advice, the latest case studies and training on the new EU Physical Agents (Noise) Directives, the Noise at Work Regulations, other applicable legislation, Acoustic Shock, Startle and Trauma, Noise Interference and Call Centre Acoustic Safety Benchmarking, with new technology, Audiometry and Occupational Health and learning solutions alongside policy and implementation guidance.

These valuable resources and solutions are delivered by the World's leading techincal, scientific and medical experts in addition to the leading equipment, technology and service providers.
